A Spring yoga and meditation getaway at Ballymaloe house

Spring time is a lovely time to press pause, rest, reflect and set the tone for the next year ahead. This retreat is for those who want to self-care, connect to that sense of inner peace. This is the focus of this retreat, to bring calm, creating a safe sanctuary for rest, reflection and restoration. All while enjoying delicious food and the wonderful surroundings of Ballymaloe House, Grainstore and gardens.

Wander around the ground of Ballymaloe and enjoy seeing the change in the season, buds on the trees, flowers peeking up from the ground and the start of warmer weather.

This 3 night weekend yoga retreat is the treat you have been looking for. A lovely experience on your own or with a friend or two.

This retreat is all about you, practicing yoga, meditation, mindful walks around the grounds of Ballymaloe eat delicious nourishing food have an afternoon bath followed by a lavender salt bath, enjoy a massage.  You might even enjoy a sunrise swim with Bree, or cosy up with your book beside the fire, there will be plenty of time to relax.

Fill your cup, let go of stress and feel your energy is restored!

Dearbhla will lead a calming, grounding retreat focusing on mindfulness,  yoga and deeply relaxing yin and restorative practices. 

Through the morning meditation we will nurture quiet, stillness and peace, nourishing both the body and spirit. The morning yoga practice will focus on strengthening the muscles by working through a lovely warming slow flow, moving through different yoga postures and transitions.

In the practice before lunch, we will enjoy some breath-work, gentle stretching and relaxation. 

In the evening practice we will practice yin yoga, opening up tired and stiff joints and eventually moving towards deep relaxation as we hold restorative poses, which calms the body, mind and the nervous system

Over the retreat each practice will have an accumulative affect, the goal is by the end of the retreat you will be in a very deep state of relaxation

This retreat is open to all everyone!

From beginners to advanced practitioners of yoga.   Dearbhla will offer modifications for our beginners and more advanced poses for those who are experienced yogis

All prices include yoga practices with Dearbhla Glynn, breakfast, lunch & dinner in Ballymaloe House, as well as bath salts from Robyn Allen in your room on arrival and walled garden herbal tea throughout your stay. Yoga mats, blocks and blankets are supplied along with guided walks through the farm & guided early morning swim at a local beach.
