Life can be busy and even overwhelming at times, sometimes we need to take a little time to self-care, rest and really take care of ourselves. This retreat is for those who want to nourish themselves, take rest, reflect, find calm and re-energise. This is the focus of this retreat, to calm anxious minds, creating a safe sanctuary for rest, reflection and restoration.
Every day will begin with a beautiful morning meditation. After meditation we will practice a gentle yoga practice opening up the body and enjoying moving and stretching. We will then enjoy a super healthy and nutritious breakfast, followed by a silent walk, where we will walk together mindfully.
Silence holds innate power, walking in silence we often find we are more present to one another as well as to ourselves, restless minds can rest connecting to that inner wisdom that is always there. It can be a challenge at first, but once you get used to it, it is quite a liberating feeling!
After our walk, we will return to the studio for some breath work and relaxation before having a hearty and healthy lunch. Free time in the afternoon, maybe it is time to curl up beside a fire and enjoy a book or experience our fabulous Wellness Lounge.
In the evening we will practice a deeply relaxing restorative yoga session, this practice is aimed to calm the mind, the nervous system and all of the systems of the body. Expect to float over to the dining room afterwards for a delicious dinner.
After dinner there is an option of Yoga Nidra before a deep, restful sleep.
